Descripción :	We will analyze the migratory process of the Otomí people, which can be divided into two phases. A first phase of national migration -from the middle to the end of the 20th century- that went to the Mexican capital, and a second phase -from the end of the 20th century to the beginning of the 21st century- in which the migratory flow reached the United States where indigenous people began to work without documents. We will present two cases in which women of different generations -who emigrated at different times of their life and in different phases of migration, internal and international-. We will learn about and analyze their stories, placing special emphasis on two central themes, the emotional ties in transnational families, and the sorority that grows among women, relatives and friends, to support each other in the face of the violence they have experienced. Analizaremos el proceso migratorio del pueblo otomí el cual se puede dividir en dos fases, primero como una migración nacional -de mediados a finales del siglo XX- que se dirigió a la capital mexicana, y una segunda fase -de finales del siglo XX a inicios del siglo XXI- en la cual el flujo migratorio llegó a Estados Unidos donde las personas indígenas comenzaron a trabajar sin documentos. Presentaremos dos casos en los que mujeres de diferentes generaciones -quienes emigraron en distintos momentos de su ciclo vital y de las dos fases de migración, interna e internacional-. Conoceremos y analizaremos sus relatos, poniendo especial énfasis en dos temas centrales, los vínculos afectivos en familias transnacionales y la sororidad que se da entre mujeres, familiares y amigas, para apoyarse frente a las violencias vividas.
