| Descripción : | This article outlines an overview of the theoretical and empirical findings of the State of Art and the theoretical framework of the present research which through communitarian tourism conducted a strategic plan of rural community, public and private institutions empowerment in Bogota, Colombia. For this purpose an analysis of the communitarian tourism´s industry in Latin-America was implemented, considering: concepts, categories and the industry’s evolution. On the other hand this paper presents a debate about the Communitarian industry and its administration and public management. It lastly presents a revision of the analytical perspectives regarding meaningful changes in the activity. These all intended to the protection of the biosphere reserves and the natural heritage of the countries, empowering the inhabitants and the institutions related, with the expectation of these all to become economically, political and environmental self-sustainable. Este artículo reseña los hallazgos teóricos y empíricos usados para la construcción del estado del arte y el marco teórico de la investigación correspondiente, dirigida a elaborar un plan estratégico de empoderamiento de la comunidad rural y los organismos públicos y privados en Bogotá, Colombia, a través del turismo comunitario; para ello, se examinaron los estudios realizados en América Latina, conceptos, categorías y tipologías, así como la evolución de dicha industria |
